The sun peeked over bright and early, casting its golden rays across the sprawling fields of Taylor Farm. Mama had already started with her chores, feeding the chickens and milking the cows. The aroma of fresh-baked cornbread wafted from the kitchen window, making my tummy rumble. After a hearty breakfast, I joined Papa in the fields to help with the planting.
